Just a Question
Why do the numbers that you have not include alternative schools. I see most schools have kids on the school sports roster that are in the alternative program but are not included in the numbers count. How can that be an accurate count? and how big of a difference would that make to the numbers? Just curious! I was looking at the WIAA web site and noticed that they list some schools alternative programs as a B school. None of the schools that are listed have a seperate sport program for there alternative school, but kids in alternative play in the regular program. How can this be a fair number to use. Just a question, help me understand.

Re: Counting year coming up!
Give me some time to do the research via the WIAA rule book and hopefully I can answer your question. Thanks.

Answer from the WIAA
Alternative School Students: you count those that live in your district, for the out of district alternative students, if your alternative school is a separate OSPI school number and you notify us of these students we will subtract them. Home School Students are not counted.
